Used Godin Multiac ACS SA Nylon Cedar Black Pearl w/Factory Bag
This one came in via trade. The instrument was well cared for by the previous owner and shows only some "player's wear". The neck is straight, truss rod works and the frets don't show any wear. The electronics are clean and operate perfectly. There are fine finish scratches throughout from play but there are no heavy scratches. The headstock does have a tiny ding that can be seen in the photos. There are two don't simple in the neck at frets 3 and 4, please see photo. The plastic is still on the output cover, back plate and output control panel.
Weighs in at 7lb 2.5oz
The Godin Multiac ACS Nylon is a professional level acoustic electric Nylon guitar with both standard 1/4" out and 13-Pin output for Roland GR® synths and other 13 pin devices. Featuring a thick Cedar top, maple back, and radiant black pearlescent finish, the ACS Nylon is the perfect feedback- nylon performance instrument that adds a new dimension to your repertoire at a reasonable price.
The Godin Nylon ACS Black Pearl is a great guitar for live performances and recording and features:
- Solid Cedar Top, Pearlescent black gloss finish
- Maple Body
- Mahogany Neck with 16" radius Richlite® composite fingerboard
- 1.9" width at the nut
- Customer RMC active electronics with 6 saddle transducers
- 13-pin output for Roland compatible synthesizers
- Standard 1/4" output jack
- 3 Band active active EQ with selectable midrange point
- Synth blend and up/down selection controls
- Include deluxe Godin padded gig bag
Since this ACS Cedar does not use a body mic, the maple body is essentially solid although not of one piece construction. Even with a solid body the weight is only 6.6 pounds, and unplugged the volume is acceptable for quiet practice. The thick (1/4") Cedar has a nicely finished exposed wood bindings that contrasts nicely with the pearl black finish. The traditional 1.9" nut width will feel totally familiar to nylon players and the neck profile is a relatively shallow "C", making it easy to reach around for chords or finger picking. The finish and feel of the neck is smooth and comfortable, and the Richlite fingerboard provides nice snap, and is said to provide better note tracking when using a synthesizer. The headstock is nicely detailed and gives the guitar an expensive look.
The 13-pin Roland compatible-synth output transforms the ACS from mere electrified nylon to personal orchestra. Whether it's piano, saxophone or other synthesized tone, the ability to add an additional instrument and even blend it with the nylon sound makes the ACS Nylon a killer tool for solo performers. Whether you use the synthesizer or not, the natural sounding tone, comfortable fit, and easy playability make the Godin ACS Nylon a totally satisfying high quality instrument.
