Used Fender Cyclone Candy Apple Red 2001
This one came in via collector purchase. If you were a Fender fan in the early 2000's, this was likely on your radar. Fender had lots of cool offsets at the time: the Toronado, Cyclone, Cyclone II all broadened the offerings for any Fender dealer. It was a real treat to see one of these come back through our shop. Anyway, let's get to it: She has some wear, definitely not a case queen. The headstock has some nice natural aging and some dings to match, isolated to the top. The first three frets have wear on the G, B, high E strings. The wear doesn't affect playability but it's worth noting. The back of the neck is pretty clean but does have two good dings between frets 3-4. The finish cracks at the neck joint look a lot worse in the pictures than they really are. Strictly finish cracks, no structural damage at all. The body has it share of battle scars as well. Lots of fine finish scratches throughout along with some major bruising and paint chips. The hardware screws all have rust along with the output jack. The electronics are clean and everything is original.
Bottom line- this 20 year old guitar has got some incredible mojo and is a solid player. If you want something pristine, it's not for you.
