Used Gibson S-1 1979 Walnut Finish w/ Original Hardshell Case
This beauty came in via trade. The instrument plays nicely with some really cool tonal variations provided from the 4 position selector. The frets are wide and flat with some fret wear, however, it doesn't effect playability. The electronics are clean and don't have any issues. The action is nice and low with no buzzing. The truss rod turns and works as it should. There is wear on this instrument throughout, including worming and gouging on the back of the instrument. The headstock has paint missing, paint cracking and finish cracks. The front of the guitar has lots of dings, dents and scratches. The back side of the neck and fretboard has some finish scratches. The bottom side of the guitar has gouging and also has a large/deep finish crack that is rather deep by comparison to the other. This finish crack stretches to the back of the instrument starting at the neck pocket. The case is in good condition but does have a broken latch.
