Used Ibanez Roadstar II RS430 1984

$599.99

The RS430 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. This guitar only ran for a single year from 1984-85 making it one of the more desirable roadstars! Components include three Ibanez V7 bar-style single coil pickups mounted in a black pickguard with the bridge pickup mounted askew, a Pro Rock'r double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, knurled Tek Grip control knobs and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines.

This particular guitar is MISSING the locking nut screws and blocks as well as the whammy bar. The trem still functions, you would just need a bar to fit it. Other than the missing parts, this guitar is in solid shape for an instrument that's nearly 40 years old. The most noticable flaw is some wear around the strap button. There is also small finish crack near the treble side neck pocket. This is common for Roadstars from this era. It doesn't effect playability and shouldn't be a problem in the future. Other than that, there are a couple light dings throughout as photographed below. This same model (in black finish) is famous for being the guitar that Marty McFly plays in the audition scene from Back To The Future. If this radical axe is good enough for Michael J. Fox, then you'll love it! Weighs 8 lb 8 oz
