Used Music Man Sterling JP70 John Petrucci
This one came into our shop via trade. The body is in fantastic shape with no noticeable dings, scratches, or scuffs. The neck does have some wear in a few different places. There are some light scratches between the 5th and 7th fretmarker. There are also some small dings on the back of the neck in various places. None of this effects the instrument's playability. Cosmetically, there's some hanger wear near the "Made In Indonesia" on the back of the headstock. Very cool and super playable 7-string guitar at a great price! Weighs 7 lb 10 oz.

House-designed humbucking pickups in the bridge and neck positions provide the JP70 with tremendous tonal range and articulation. Notes ring out with bell-like clarity, chords shimmer and bloom and leads soar endlessly. The pickups offer dynamic sensitivity, responding evenly to a feather-light touch or an aggressive attack. Their high output means endless sustain for legato lines and dive bombs alike. A 3-way selector switch lets you access either pickup individually or combine them for a tone as complex and nuanced as your playing.
Modern Tremolo System Opens a World of Expression
A full floating modern tremolo bridge provides the JP70 with a wealth of expressive potential. Dive bombs, scooped mids and warbling leads are all possible with the tremolo's fluid action and stability. Locking tuners help keep the guitar in tune even under heavy tremolo use, while a contoured forearm scoop offers comfortable accommodation for any technique. The tremolo system's broad range gives progressive players full creative license.
Premium Components and Construction
A nyatoh body, hard maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide an exceptional tonal foundation for the JP70's premium pickups and bridge. The contoured body nestles comfortably against the player for long practice or performance sessions. 24 jumbo frets on a 16" radius fingerboard offer space for complex chords, legato runs and wide bends. Die-cast tuning machines, 5-bolt neck joint and a 1.95" nut round out the JP70's premium appointments.
