The AEGB24E features a thin body with a soft Florentine cutaway constructed of a laminated sapele top with herringbone purfling and black binding on laminated sapele sides and back. The round soundhole has an acrylic rosette and and a wooden thumb rest. The nyatoh and maple neck joins the body at the 16^th fret and has a 32" scale, 21-fret walnut fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a walnut bridge with black plastic bridge pins, a plastic nut, and black Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.

Electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding a ¼" stereo output.
