The Ibanez FRH10N utilizes a modified hollow FR body—a shape pulled from the electric series of the same designation. A Sitka spruce top, and sapele back and sides, build a platform for balanced acoustic sound. Gentler, more subdued sapele tempers the brighter upper overtones reproduced by spruce in a complementary way that’s uniquely rich and resonant. Internally, traditional fan bracing supports the body construction, lending itself to the definitive sonic character associated with nylon-string acoustics.
