This is a fantastic example of a late 1970's Fender Stratocaster! Pretty darn clean if we do say so ourselves. The official name for this color was "Wine". It is a dark, transparent red finish. The finish is in pretty solid shape but there are some scratches throughout the back and top. The most substantial being a top scratch between the jack plate and bridge. It is a surface scratch, but somewhat deep and can be visible in indirect light. We have photographed the rest of them to our best ability. There is a small ding on the top of the headstock. The hardware is free from tarnishing or any major signs of rust. The frets are in decent shape. Fairly low to begin with, 70's Fenders are not known for their medium jumbos... It's all preference! This guitar plays well across the neck with clear notes throughout. The pickups are very "Stratty"!

This particular guitar weighs 9LBS. It ain't one of the light ones.

It includes all of the original components, case, and candy. The tremolo bar, owners manual, inspection tag, extra trem springs, both keys, and some other goodies (as photo'd) are all included. The "ashtray" hasn't even been taken out of the paper wrapping. We left it in there to avoid fingerprints. The exterior of the case is in good shape with only a few marks and signs of wear, but the felt on the inside of the case is almost perfect. This is a package deal.
