Used Fender Stratocaster American Series HSS S-1 Switch 2003 W/Case and Paperwork

This guitar is in great shape for a 21 year old instrument. A scratch on the back near the backplate is probably the most notable wear. There is some fairly significant yellowing of the pickguard and backplate (sticker still on backplate). There is also some minor fret-wear/indentation on the first fret, top strings. The neck feels great, and the pickups sound fantastic.  Comes with molded hardcase and weighs 8 lb 1 oz.

The Fender American Series Stratocaster is a solid body guitar with a 25.5" scale. It features HSS pickup configuration and S1 switching. The American Stratocaster differs from the first series of the American Standard in that it has a Delta Tone System instead of the TBX, and a “hotter” bridge pickup and a "no load tone control circuit" for the middle pickup.  It also utilizes the S-1 switch that became exclusive to American Deluxe Series.
