About
Alright, this one is a peach. This amp was made in September of '66 and is an absolute stunner! This one is pretty original, with some changes having been made over the amp's life. The big stuff is as follows: replaced speaker (80's Rola), replaced output transformer, replaced speaker connection method, and a new snazz jewel purple light. An original RCA 6v6 remains, the 5y3 is a Phillips. Internally, this amp is real original. Pretty much untouched in regards to the circuit. Original caps, original can, original Schumaker power transformer, original carbon comps. The two-prong cord is also untouched and has a bit of protective paper on it that sort of wiggles around. Likely how it came as theres no way to fasten it back on. If you're planning to gig out frequently with this amp, that may be something to address.
Man does this bad boy sound sweet! Cosmetically in very solid shape. That sweet yellowed grill cloth! The top back panel protecting the tubes and the vibrato footswitch is missing. There is a small piece of wood to be re-glued on the leftmost support for the missing panel.
