About

Description

"Introduced in 1958, the AC15 combo has been the amp of choice for countless guitar players. Drawing on over 50 years of amp-building expertise, the AC15 Custom X (AC15C1X) provides a stunning range of authentic tones in a conveniently portable package.

The AC15 Custom X features the two iconic VOX channels - Normal and Top-Boost, each with its own Volume control. The Top Boost channel's interactive Treble and Bass tone controls help you to shape your sound, bringing out the signature VOX chime and midrange. The Tone Cut control allows you to fine-tune your signal even further, and the Master Volume control works with the individual volumes of each channel to give you just the right amount of gain-staging.

The AC15 Custom X also comes with spring reverb and tremolo that can be switched via the optional VFS2A footswitch. All output through a single 12" Celestion Alnico Blue Speaker, with extension and external speaker outputs for use on larger stages." - VOX

This amp has a lot of the small dings and scuffs you would expect from a well-loved (and well-gigged) used amp. The majority of these are on the back, the edges, and the corners of the tolex. We photographed each one to the best of our ability. Amp functions exactly as it should, and exactly how you'd want it to! This thing's a RIPPER! Does the Vox jangle all day, but also has a great Bluesy/proto-Metal gain sound. That Alnico Blue speaker sounds tremendous and completes the Vox tone/look. Hey man, if it's good enough for the Beatles, it's good enough for you!
