Looking for a great strummer parlor that is dynamic and vintage sounding in all the best ways? This stylish FG-75 is the guitar for you. Put together with the finest Japanese spruce and maple ply, this is a far cry from your 012-28. Serial # I511974, thinking late 60's.

This one is the more sought after "Red Label" spec. Designated by the red model label inside the soundhole, this guitar is made in Japan, unlike it's later taiwanese cousins that share the model name. The exact differences between country of origins are not clear but some say it's that the ply was just a bit better. Whatever the mystique may be, the common consensus is that the Red Label series was some of Yamaha's finest.

This guitar is in great shape for it's age. There are a few small nicks, some rub near the top of the body where it meets the neck. Some minor swirling/ scratching on the pickguard, which by the way, has these goregous dark red tort-like flakes in it.  Action is 13/1000 of an inch at the 12th fret. This is a great guitar for a great price. Open your heart and mind to the world vintage MIJ... Your wallet and ears will thank you!
