Used Ibanez Roadstar II RS530 HH

$599.99

The RS530 is a Roadstar II Series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1984. The RS530 features a flame maple top with contrasting binding on a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez IBZ humbucking pickups with Duo Sound push-push coil-split functionality mounted in black pickup rings and a Pro Rock'r double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, knurled Tek Grip control knobs and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines.

The tremolo arm is missing, but the locking nut and bridge pieces are all present. The proprietary Floyd-style tremolo should work with a replacement bar. Other than that, it has as a couple of small dings as to be expected from a guitar that's nearly 40 years old. The most apparent of these is a gash on the bass side of the first fret (roughly where a fret marker would be). It doesn't effect normal playability, but if you're a player that wraps their thumb around the top of the fretboard when doing barre chords, you will feel it. Feels great otherwise and it sounds fantastic! Weighs 8 lb 4 oz
